It’s Your Duty to Vote as a True Blooded American: Anarchy Roundtable, Ep 11

We have hot topic for you today.  Why should you or should you not vote?  Every anarchist looks at this differently we take a look at the two opposing viewpoints.

This website has a collection of Murray Rothbard’s thoughts on voting.  He’s not exactly pro-voting but his is against the anti-voting sentiment.

The Jones Plantation by Larken Rose.  This almost seems to be a response to Rothbard.

Roosevelt on his screwed up definition of freedom.  It’s interesting how politicians use language to manipulate people–to shape them like clay, how they want them, to enhance their own power.  Hit control F and search for this quote:

The third is freedom from want—which, translated into world terms, means economic understandings which will secure to every nation a healthy peacetime life for its inhabitants-everywhere in the world.

The fallacy of redesigning the state for liberty.

Visit the Campaign for a Longer Leash Facebook fan page for some good laughs.  If you’d like to see more from Lou Feen, he was on Ep 9 of Anarchy Roundtable.

Here is a quote I got off of Facebook from someone who shows a clear cut example of just how over the top brainwashed someone can be about the state, politicians, and the whole political process.  We discus this post around the 45 or so minute mark of the show.  I don’t know who to attribute it to.  You can see the comical comment thread, under this post, here.

Ted Cruz is my heart choice. Our beloved country is on life support, and therefore, it will require more than the skills of any one man to bring her through, it will require the power of Gods Mercy. As with George Washington, America must have a man who will go DAILY, many times a day, to his knees and in faith, with a humble heart, asking God for HIS wisdom, and strength. IF WE, settle for anything or anyone less, I believe that we are asking for Gods judgment, not Gods mercy. This election is NOT about politics people, it IS about survival. Be very very careful in making your decision, it is a matter of life and death for our way of life. If we fail our children here, it will matter very little what else we do. Ted sought Gods wisdom and direction before he made the decision to run for President, and I expect he will also seek Gods face daily, as he serves.

Legally Kidnapped: The Case Against Child Protective Services is a book by by Carlos Morales, who used to work for CPS.  He describes what can only be called a horrible mass crime by the government against children and families in the name of protecting them from harm.  If you just have 30 minutes or so, you can hear Carlos Morales talk about his experiences on the Tom Woods Show hereI will say that this is a very powerful episode of the Tom Woods Show. It’s the kind of episode where you remember where you were when you listened to it. I was helping my parents paint their house.
